Description
This building is located in the heart of Mekelle, Ethiopia. The design embraces minimalistic elements highlighting grays, beige, and shades of white. This contemporary style offers everything in its place interior featuring designs that are high on function and simplicity. The building has a strong emphasis on geometric shapes and an irregular asymmetrical facade with large windows; it has a free-form composition with mixed materials.
The building is placed at 467m2. The entire building is built for commercial purposes. The ground and 1st floor are a mix of both shop and office. From 2nd – 4th is just used for commercials and the rest of the floors (5th-12th) are just used for offices.
Generally, the goal of this contemporary building is to integrate aesthetically pleasing aspects into the overall design while minimizing unnecessary structural add-ons.
